Easy to use, high performance
The control station comprises a Personal Computer and Hotel Supervisor software; communications with the Intelligence Units for guest rooms (peripherals) is via a dedicated and protected phone line (with industrial application protocol for quick and disturbance-free communications: BITBUS INTERCONNECT SDLC/HDLC. Standardized IEEE1118).Room unit connections to peripherals are by quick PLUG RJ45 connectors (telephone type), with automatic system for clip-on to the cable, for easy installation and maintenance. Rooms have non-volatile memories (NVRAM) guaranteeing proper services even during a blackout or failure of the central computer. Rooms and public areas can be monitored from the central workstation.
The central workstation can also be used to file alarms, the movement of personnel and accesses to rooms and public areas. The graphics software was designed for use without specialist skills or knowledge (using icons) and displays the hotel floor-by-floor or room-by-room for floor or room status at a glance. Using a rewritable memory EEPROM (EquadroPROM) the room program can be modified without disassembly of any component.
Hotel Supervisor can be interfaced with commercially available management software for the Front Office, such as: Fidelio, Ericsoft, Sys Dat, etc.
